Screen4Care Joins the 12th European Conference on Rare Diseases & Orphan Products (ECRD 2024) as an Associate Partner

The Screen4Care consortium is delighted to announce its participation as an associate partner in the 12th European Conference on Rare Diseases & Orphan Products (ECRD 2024).

ECRD is Europe's leading patient-led forum for shaping policy concerning rare diseases. This year's conference, themed "Action Within Reach: Pioneering Solutions for Rare Diseases,” represents a crucial moment in addressing the challenges faced by individuals living with rare diseases. This hybrid meeting, organised by Screen4Care's project partner EURODIS, co-organised by Orphanet, and supported by the EU Public Health Programme and AFM Telethon, will be held in Brussels on 15- 16 May, 2024 and is expected to host over 1000 individuals (700 online and 300 in person). The event will unite patient advocates, academics, healthcare professionals, industry stakeholders, payers, regulators, Member State representatives, and policymakers.
By convening stakeholders from across Europe, ECRD 2024 aims to establish a consensus on a comprehensive approach to rare disease policy, laying the foundation for the forthcoming EU legislative cycle.

We encourage patient groups, academics, healthcare professionals, and all other interested parties who have conducted research or studies on rare diseases or public health projects to submit a poster abstract for the ECRD 2024. For more information, click here.
